Paul Walker death caused by ''speed, and speed alone'' - NOT mechanical issues

Paul Walker death caused by ''speed, and speed alone'' - NOT mechanical issues

"Speed, and speed alone", caused the smash said investigators
Paul Walker death was caused by speed

Paul Walker's death crash was not because of mechanical problems, according to investigators.

The Porshe Careera careered into a telegraph pole killing Fast & Furious actor Walker and driver Roger Rodas because of "speed and speed alone", said a police official.

Debris was also ruled out as a cause of the tragic accident, which shocked the world on November 30.

Traffic investigators have not released the speed they think the car was travelling at as they are still waiting for Porshe engineers to extract the information from the car.

Reports in the US say three black boxes have been recovered from the car's shell.

One will be able to tell the last speed recorded and whether the airbags were deployed, while the other two will give information on the throttle and engine readings.

The beloved Fast & Furious actor, who died on November 30, wasn't killed from the impact alone but suffered fatal burns.

Paul Walker horrific car accident

Paul died alongside driver and pal Roger Roads after he lost control of his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT, which slammed into a telegraph pole and then burst into flames.

Family members will get some closure from the death certificate, which was published by TMZ, as it says the death would have been rapid.

Roger also died from "multiple traumatic injuries," but according to TMZ there were no burns linked to his death.

On Friday the grieving family and friends of actor Paul Walker attended a small and intimate funeral service for the star.

Those attending the private ceremony gathered under a green awning to avoid the bright sun. A picture of the actor could be seen.

The service - which family members wanted to be extremely private - lasted about 45 minutes. It was held two weeks to the day after the 40-year-old perished in a car crash.

The star died in a blaze when a car he was travelling in crashed into a pole on November 30.

Paul's Jiu-Jitsu teacher Ricardo Miller, who guided him in the combat sport for nine years while working on the 'Fast & Furious' films, has commemorated his late friend by bestowing him with an honorary black belt.

He wrote on his official website: "[Paul] was determined to become a black belt. He said, 'I will get my black belt, even if I need to get it in my coffin.' Now in the wake of his death, I would like to reward Paul Walker the black belt that he wanted so much during his life."

It has emerged that  Paul's death could have been caused by road bumps, his family and stunt experts say.

Accident reconstruction experts have told how a car approaching 90 MPH can lose traction after hitting the reflective plastic markers.

The speeding Porsche may have hydroplaned on the markers - called Botts' Dots - which are laid down to separate traffic lanes.

On contact, the handling of the vehicle is severely affected and would have felt similar to driving the sportscar on ice.

Stunt experts believe it could explain why driver Roger Rodas would have lost control behind the wheel, according to TMZ.

Kris Jenner praises daughter Khloe Kardashian's strength and says her divorce is 'cleansing' her

We are all a little worried for Khloe at the moment but Kris has put or minds at rest just slightly by saying she is managing well
Staying positive: Mum to the rescue

Kris Jenner has spoken of her pride at her daughter Khloe Kardashian's strength following her divorce from basketball player husband Lamar Odom.

And we have all breathed a very slight sigh of relief to hear she is doing well.

Kris said her daughter, 29, is going through a "cleansing time" at the moment - we have to give it to her, she has made the most awful situation sound positive.

She told People magazine: "What Khloé is going through is definitely challenging, I’m not going to lie."

We would say that was a slight understatement, but good on her for staying positive, again.

Kris told the magazine: "It’s also a very interesting time for her because it's very cleansing."

She added: "She’s also showed this side of her that I didn’t know she had. I always knew Khloé was strong, but I never dreamed that she had this kind of strength."

Khloe will be leaning on her family more than ever

Khloe filed for divorce from Lamar, 34, last week and finally broke her silence on Twitter on Wednesday by writing: "This, in and of itself, is heart breaking and torture to my soul. Please, I don't need the extra rumors and BS right now."

We all cried a little inside.

The rumours she is no doubt referring to include those spread by US tabloids linking her to American professional baseball player Matt Kemp.

Kris added: "It’s definitely life lessons that she will be able to apply and use later in her life."

Court documents for Khloe's divorce from Lamar were filed  by high profile American attorney Laura Wasser - who represented Khloe's sister Kim during her divorce from Kris Humphries - at Los Angeles Superior Court with Khloe citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

Khloe has asked a judge to take Odom out of her name so she can go from being known as Khloe Kardashian Odom to just Khloe Kardashian once again.

The television personality is not asking for spousal support and splitting any assets should be clean as they have a prenup and have kept their property separate.

We had SUCH high hopes for the two of them

Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Khloe married NBA basketball player Lamar in 2009 exactly one month after they met at a party for Lamar's then Los Angeles Lakers teammate Metta World Peace.

News of the divorce comes after months of speculation surrounding the couple with Lamar's alleged drug abuse putting a strain on the marriage.

In August this year the sportsman wasarrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and had a spell in rehab soon after.

In September, reports claiming the couple had been living apart surfaced after the pair had not been seen together in weeks.

However, in October, Khloe and Lamar were seen with the rest of the Kardashian/Jenner family in the VIP section at a Kanye West concert in Los Angeles.

But the pair did not spend the Thanksgiving holiday together with Lamar choosing to visit his father Joe.

Khloe has posted a number of cryptic messages online in recent months which appeared to relate to her turbulent personal life.

Just the day before she filed the divorce papers, Khloe posted an image on photo sharing website Instagram which contained such a message.

It read: "I am strong because I've been weak. I am fearless because I've been afraid. I am wise because I've been foolish."

Kris Jenner will kiss granddaughter North West on New Year's Eve, not rumoured beau Ben Flajnik

Kris Jenner will kiss granddaughter North West on New Year's Eve, not rumoured beau Ben Flajnik

Kris is keeping very tight lipped about a certain rumoured relationship with the former Bachelor star - and clearly New Year isn't a time to open up for her

Dating: Kris is on the look out for a younger man

Kris Jenner has revealed her New Year's Eve sweetheart will be none other than daughter Kim Kardashian's adorable baby North West.

How sweet.

But it seems the reality star is keen to keep her rumoured relationship with former Bachelor star Ben Flajnik well under wraps.

The 58-year-old told E! Online: "I have a date, and her name is North. North West is my kiss."

Kris has been remarkably silent about toy boy Ben, 28, who is an impressive 27 years younger than her.

They were spotted together at Kanye West's concert in Los Angeles in October, and later on a shopping trip in New York.

The supermum didn't waste any time in announcing she was ready to date again, but then she IS part of the Kardashian klan.

She made it clear she wanted younger men just a month after splitting from husband Bruce Jenner, and she may have been VERY successful very soon.

Fingers crossed? Kind of?

Kris seems keen to move on from ex Bruce

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star went on to say her annual Christmas Eve party will be all about family, no doubt to support daughter Khloe who recently filed for divorce from her basketball player husband Lamar Odom.

She said: "We're going to just hang out and relax before the year starts. I really love the week between Christmas and New Year's because it gives me a chance to recharge and do something.

"So we don't have a definite plan, but just going to relax with the family."

And she remained coy when asked if One Direction heartthrob Harry Styles would be stopping by the Kardashian house to see Kendall Jenner, and added: "I do not know who is coming to that party right now but it will be fun - friends and family."

Oh please spill the beans Kris.

Either way, there's bound to be some Kardashian-style festive dramas to keep us entertained throughout.

Watch One Direction send moving video message to Colorado school shooting victim

The boyband sent one of their greatest fans a special message after she was badly wounded and left in a coma by 18-year-old gunman Karl Pierson

Special message to Clarie from 1D

The One Direction boys have sent a very special message to one of their biggest fans who was badly wounded in the recent Colorado school shooting.

Claire Davis, 17, was shot in the head by 18-year-old gunman Karl Pierson at their Arapahoe High School in Colorado last week, and remains in a coma.

Another student was injured in the shooting and Pierson is later believed to have shot himself dead in the school library

The boys created the video to wish her a full recovery, and Liam took the lead for their special message.

He said: "Hi Claire, we've heard you are a big fan and we just wanted to show you some love.

"What's happened to you is absolutely terrible and it's something we can't bare thinking about so we just wanted to share some love with you and all our prayers are with you and your family.

"Hope you get well soon, lots of love."

Students and parents gathered on the running track

The shooter is believed to have entered Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado, to confront a teacher.

The teacher left the building after being warned but Claire was left seriously injured after being shot.

TV pictures showed hundreds of students leaving the school with their hands on their heads.

Parents also raced to the scene, which is eight miles from Columbine High School where 14 students were shot dead in 1999.

The school - which has more than 2,200 students  -  was immediately placed on lockdown.
