The Saturdays were upset by Girls Aloud splitting up.

Rochelle Humes said the girl group - which helped launch the careers of its members Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Sarah Harding, Nicola Roberts and Kimberley Walsh - marked a moment in time when they announced their break-up on Wednesday (20.03.13).

They recently completed a reunion tour to celebrate their tenth anniversary after a three year hiatus.

The singer told the Daily Star newspaper: ''It's the end of an era I went to see them on the 'Ten' tour and I'm like, 'Why are you splitting up?' It was such a good show.''

Fellow 'What About Us' hitmaker Una Healy agreed with her Saturdays band mate who also has fond memories of their contemporaries.

She reminisced: ''We supported them on their arena tour five years ago. It's so sad.''

However, the group are determined not to tread the same path, although Vanessa White admitted they do need a break at some point.

She explained: ''I feel like we've got loads left. At the moment we would like some time off, but there's no time in the schedule.''

Girls Aloud angry at Nadine Coyle?

Girls Aloud have parted on ''terrible'' terms.

The 'Something New' hitmakers are allegedly furious former bandmate Nadine Coyle shared her sadness about their recent split over Twitter because she made it look like it wasn't a mutual decision.

A source told The Mirror newspaper: ''They have parted on terrible terms. The girls hadn't seen much of US-based Nadine until they reunited for the tour and now it doesn't look like they'll ever see much of her once she's gone back to LA.

''As soon as Sarah [Harding] saw the tweet she called Nadine to say how angry she was. The tweet made it look like the girls went behind Nadine's back to make the decision.''

The band - who were formed on 'Popstars: The Rivals' in 2002 - announced on Wednesday (20.03.13) they were to go their separate ways following their successful 'Ten - The Hits' reunion tour.

However, Nadine quickly took to Twitter to claim she ''couldn't stop'' them and wanted to ''keep going'', leaving the other girls - Sarah, Cheryl Cole, Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts - at war with her over her behaviour.

The insider added: ''The plan had always been to split after the tour. Nadine also felt the sharp end of Cheryl's tongue. Nadine's behaviour has left a bitter taste in everyone's mouth.''

Hugh Bonneville eyeing up EastEnders role

Hugh Bonneville would like a role on 'EastEnders'.

The 'Downton Abbey' actor could see himself swapping the luxurious life of the Earl of Grantham on the ITV period drama for a more humble existence in Albert Square, after having got a taste for the BBC One soap when he made a brief cameo appearance in 1995.

Hugh - who played a headmaster for a single episode - teased: ''I might go back. I am a jobbing actor and I will take whatever comes along, thank you very much. I would never say never.

''The actors who work in soaps are the hardest working actors. The amount of material they have to learn is so much. It's phenomenal.''

While the 49-year-old star wants to be a part of 'Downton' for as long as possible, he believes series writer Julian Fellowes should ''quit while he's ahead'' because she show might lose its impact.

Hugh told The Mirror newspaper: ''I honestly don't know how long Julian can go on with Downton - I don't know if there will be a fifth series.

''I am sure the money men would like it to go on for ever and ever because it does sell extremely well around the world.

Bieber claims neighbour is lying

Justin Bieber has claimed his neighbour is lying over claims he threatened to kill him.

The 'Beauty and a Beat' singer is being investigated for battery following a heated verbal argument with a local resident at his Calabasas, California, home on Tuesday (26.03.13), which is thought to have stemmed from his ''reckless'' driving, but the pop star - who allegedly spat at the unidentified man and threatened to kill him - has insisted the confrontation never became physical.

A source close to the 19-year-old musician told TMZ that while Justin doesn't deny there was an incident at his home on Tuesday morning, ''no spit ever left his mouth'' and he never made threats of violence towards the man.

The 47-year-old neighbour told police officials investigating the complaint that he confronted Justin at his home about his ''unbelievably reckless'' driving in the local area, which he claims could have put pets and children in danger, but the star lashed out.

Justin reportedly shouted, ''Get the f**k out of here,'' before spitting in his face and then said, ''I'm gonna f**king kill you''.

The 'Baby' singer's camp, meanwhile, claims the man was trespassing on his property during the incident.

It has also emerged that another local - who is said to be ''extremely close'' to the neighbour - reportedly told fellow residents that she planned to sell pictures of Justin and sell stories about the singer just weeks before the confrontation.

A source told RadarOnline.com: ''This neighbour told people that Justin moving into the neighborhood was a chance to make money by selling photos of him and that got back to Justin, who put in hedges to block the view.

''The neighbour also said money could be made by selling information and that the neighbour already had a direct pipeline to several media outlets.''

Ne-Yo sued by ex-girlfriend

Ne-Yo is being sued by a former love interest who falsely claimed he was the father of her child.

The 30-year-old singer - who has two children Madilyn Grace and Mason Evan with his actress fiancee Monyetta Shaw - has been named in a new lawsuit filed by Jessica White, who claims he defamed her in an interview on VH1's 'Behind the Music' last year.

According to gossip website TMZ.com, Jessica claims Ne-Yo painted her as ''an unchaste woman who deliberately tricked him into believing he was the father of her child ... so that she could fraudulently bilk him of 'ungodly amounts of money,'' during the interview.

The graphic designer and photographer claims she didn't know he was not the father of her son, who she gave birth to in 2005 while she was dating the singer, until a paternity test proved it.

She also claims that the 'Sexy Love' singer was aware that he might not be the child's father because she told him at the time but he still proceeded to trash her in the interview and suggested she tried to defraud him on purpose.

Jessica - who says she has been subjected to unprovoked verbal attacks from strangers calling her a ''c**t'', ''b***h'' ''pathetic'' and ''gold-digging bitch'' - also claims her career has been damaged by the paternity scandal and is suing for unspecified damages.

The former couple are rumoured to have had a confidentiality agreement in place.

Nicki Minaj misses American Idol due to traffic

Nicki Minaj was late for 'American Idol' last night (13.03.13) because she was stuck in traffic.

The judge appeared to miss the evening's first performance by Curtis Finch Jr., but while she wasn't in her seat to give him her thoughts on his singing, he claims she heard him.

Curtis - who performed Fantasia's 'Believe' - told E! news: ''During the performance, she was backstage.''

He added the star almost ran into her as he stepped off stage, adding: ''It was literally like, 'Step, step, step, curtain, Nicki. And she was like, 'Good job today.' ''

''To see her backstage was comforting.''

Some of the other contestants noted Nicki has fallen foul of Los Angeles' notoriously bad traffic before.

Paul Jolley said: ''It's not the first time and probably not the last. But I'm OK with it. I love Nicki.''

Burnell Taylor, who sang Westlife's 'Flying Without Wings' on the show feels Nicki has earned the right to be late if she chooses.

He said: ''I mean, when you look that good, you have to be late.''

Devin Velez came up with some possible solutions to get the 'Starships' rapper to the studios on time.

He said: ''Maybe we could get her a helicopter. Or some tennis shoes, so she can run.''

Rihanna cancels another show

Rihanna is devastated after being forced to cancel another concert.

The 'Stay' singer - who kicked off her new Diamonds World Tour on Friday night (08.03.13) - came down with a severe combination of laryngitis and flu immediately after her debut show and pulled out of her performance in Baltimore on Tuesday night (12.03.03) despite taking three days off to get better.

The singer is said to be extremely disappointed that she has only been able to perform one show to date.

The 25-year-old admitted she was gutted after announcing her first cancellation in Boston on Sunday (10.03.13) and wrote on Twitter: ''BOSTON this is the hardest thing for me to deal with! I feel like we've been waiting on this day forever, and I'm hurt that I let you down

''I hate disappointing people that never ever let me down!! I'm so embarrassed about this! Thank you for your prayers and well wishes!#DWT''

Live Nation previously said the singer was under doctor's orders to rest, saying: ''Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening.''

Both of her shows in Baltimore and Boston will be rescheduled.

A source previously claimed that Rihanna couldn't wait to get out on tour and took it easy in rehearsals so she could save her energy for her fans.

The insider said: ''She's good, excited to kick off this [tour] and do it big. She's already hyped up and doing some light rehearsals but other than that, she's taking it easy. Saving all the energy for the show.''

The singer is still currently scheduled to take to the stage in Philadelphia on Thursday (14.03.13).

Ed Sheeran says speculation about him dating Taylor Swift has made him feel like a ''stud''.

The 22-year-old singer insists he isn't romantically involved with the 'I Knew You Were Trouble' hitmaker and while he enjoys hearing rumours about their apparent relationship, he knows the blonde beauty is off-limits after she recently dated his good friend Harry Styles.

Ed - who collaborated with Taylor on track 'Everything Has Changed', which appears on her fourth studio album 'Red' - said: ''My mates believed it. And my mates are texting me being like, 'Is it true?' so I said it wasn't but the fact that people can believe it makes me feel like a bit of a stud, you know?

Kim Kardashian to be grilled this month

Kim Kardashian's divorce case deposition will take place later this month.

The 32-year-old reality TV star - who is expecting her first child in early July with her rapper boyfriend of almost one year Kanye West - will reportedly be confronted about faking scenes for her E! series when her estranged husband Kris Humphries' lawyers finally sit down to grill her in two weeks time ahead of their divorce battle.

A source told gossip website RadarOnline.com: ''Kim's deposition is now scheduled. It will take place in the next two weeks at her lawyer Laura Wasser's office. It's scheduled to take all day, and Kim has been dreading it.''

Kim's deposition will be recorded and used as evidence in her upcoming divorce trial against Kris, who is continuing to contest their divorce and wants an annulment on the basis of fraud.

A producer of 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' has already admitted that a few scenes were either faked, edited or staged in his recent deposition, including Kris' televised marriage proposal.

The Brooklyn Nets player's legal team were previously said to be keeping a close eye on Kim's reality show to gather information to help them question her at her upcoming deposition.

An insider said: ''Kris' lawyers are being meticulous in their preparation of Kim's deposition, and impending divorce trial.''

Kris' attorney Marshall Waller recently applied to be taken off the sportsman's legal team after he advised there was no legal grounds or evidence to support his claims of fraud.

Adele demands huge wedding fee

Adele reportedly requested £100,000 a minute to perform at a wedding.

The 'Skyfall' hitmaker was approached by South African fruit juice tycoon Vivian Imerman - who is worth around £400 million - to sing a 25-minute set at the nuptials of his daughter Megan at London's upmarket Grosvenor House hotel, but he decided against hiring the services of the award-winning superstar after discovering the brief performance would cost £2.5 million.

A source told the Daily Star newspaper: ''Vivian is planning a lavish wedding.

''He paid Amy Winehouse thousands to perform at his eldest daughter Bianca's wedding three years ago. He hoped to do the same again with Adele.

''But he was surprised when he was told she'd cost £2.5m.

''Despite his bulging bank balance even he thought it was too expensive and is looking at other artists.''

Despite missing out on the money from the wedding, Adele - who has five-month-old son Angelo with fiance Simon Konecki - is unlikely to be too disappointed as she is reportedly close to signing a £10 million deal to front an advertising campaign for a cosmetics firm.

She is said to be considering offers from Estée Lauder, L'Oréal and Dior to be the face of their brands, but will only accept if the ideas fit to her tastes.

A source told The Sun newspaper: ''Adele is in big demand. She would only accept if the campaigns were to her taste and incorporate her music.

Cheryl may be offered huge sum for X Factor return

Cheryl Cole could be offered a huge deal to return to 'The X Factor' USA.

The 29-year-old pop star was sacked during the show's first series in 2011 before suing Simon Cowell's talent show for $2.3 million, but it's now being reported she could be offered a big contract to tempt a return for the former judge.

A source told the Daily Mirror newspaper: ''This is a massive move from Simon. He's going right out there and saying that he made a mistake in sacking her.

''After she was shunted off the show, TV critics in the US said in reviews that she was the best thing about the programme - and it seems for once that Simon was wrong.

''Over the past two seasons, the US 'X Factor' hasn't performed as Simon would have wanted - now it looks like Cheryl will be the saviour.''

The insider speculates the Girls Aloud singer might not accept the deal after the added ''humiliation'' of being replaced by Nicole Scherzinger on the UK version of the show.

They continued: ''It's going to be tough sell for Simon after the humiliation she originally suffered, but if he plays it right, it could happen and it would be a viewer's dream.

''Cheryl has been quite adamant that she doesn't want to head back to the UK version of the show after leaving so getting a slot on the US one would be perfect.''

It's reported the music mogul is planning a big multi-year deal to tempt the star back onto the show, but nothing is certain.

The source added: ''He's planning to put a massive contract on the table in the coming weeks, giving her the opportunity to return and prove him wrong once and for all.

''Obviously, there's no certainty that she will decide to go for it, but it appears to be the closest right now to Cheryl returning to the 'X Factor' family.''

Justin Bieber's hamster has died.

The Canadian singer's beloved rodent Pac - which he gave away to a fan in December after his performance at the Atlanta Jingle Ball show - has passed away due to what is thought to have been a chronic renal failure or a low protein diet.

Super-fan Tori McClure told TMZ the cute Russian dwarf hamster began losing its hair and a visit to the vet was unable to save him. She buried the beloved rodent in her garden, insisting, ''it's very peaceful there''.

The 18-year-old girl promised, ''I will take care of him'' as Justin handed him over to her outside the concert venue last winter, after having owned him for just two months.

However, Animal rights group The California Hamster Association predicted the death of poor Pac at the time, and were far from impressed by the way the 19-year-old singer disposed of his unwanted animal.

They said: ''The moment that hamster was handed off to a screaming girl in a harsh, frenzied environment was likely the moment it gazed at the short path to its doom.''

Justin has yet to comment on the sad loss and is lying low after a tough week in London.

The 'Boyfriend' hitmaker angered his young fans by arriving almost two hours late for his concert at The O2 arena, before ending the week by getting involved in a heated exchange with a paparazzi photographer.

Wynonna Judd Describes Watching Husband Nearly Die

Country music star Wynonna Judd is opening up about her husband's motorcycle crash in August that nearly killed him and required doctors to amputate his leg.

Judd had only been married to her husband, drummer Michael Scott 'Cactus' Moser, for two months when they were riding on separate bikes before a concert in Deadwood, South Dakota in August 2012 and his bike collided with an oncoming vehicle. Moser's injuries resulted in his left leg being amputated above the knee and he also underwent surgery on one of his hands.

In a new interview with Us Weekly, Judd, 48, recalls that she didn't know whether her 55-year-old husband had survived the brutal crash. "I remember standing over Cactus, wondering whether he was alive or not," she said. "I kept saying to myself, 'Be calm, be calm.' When I realized he was still alive, I noticed the leg was gone. I saw remnants of it, um, all over the highway. I just stood there, trying to make sense of it all."

Judd -- who is currently rehearsing for her debut next week on the new season of Dancing with the Stars -- told the magazine that while she and her husband emerged stronger from the tragedy, they still have dark days. "We're living two different realities," Moser explained. "We learned to respect that we each have our own pain."

"They are incredibly happy," the Rock of Ages director said. "I've just been emailing with him. He's coming back. He's shooting [All You Need Is Kill] in London and seems as happy as a clam. I know he sees his daughter," Shankman explained of Cruise's 6-year-old daughter Suri with Holmes, who filed for divorce last June after five years of marriage. (The duo finalized their divorce in July.)

"Katie seems really happy," he added of the actress, who served as a guest judge with him on So You Think You Can Dance. "You just fight through all the noise. And it's noisy!"

Late last month, E! News reported that Cruise, 50, enjoyed some father-daughter time with Suri in London, where he has been filming All You Need Is Kill.

"She spent five days with him," a source told E! News. "He has been working quite long hours on the set, but he was able to have some time off to be with her. They had a really lovely time."

While Cruise is working, Suri spends her time with Holmes, 34, in NYC. On Monday, the mother-daughter duo were spotted heading to Suri's tennis lessons.

Holmes has also been focused on her career since separating from Cruise. The former Dawson's Creek star returned to the Broadway stage in Dead Accounts and debuted her Holmes & Yang clothing line at NYC's Fashion Week last September.

It’s been rough for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth since he allegedly made out with January Jones and flirted aggressively with Emma Watson on Oscar weekend. Now Page Six is reporting that they're done, for sure. Not surprising. Rumours, cheating, sure...but ultimately, it's age, isn't it? Did anyone really expect that an engagement at 19 that followed a relationship that started at 16 would really lead to marriage? And even if it did, how would that last? It probably wouldn't last outside Hollywood, never mind right in the eye of it. 

But, as it often is when two famous people part, when reputations and careers are in involved, now it’s time to focus on the spin. Liam’s the one who’s being accused of offside behavior so, naturally, his side is trying to make excuses. According to Page Six sources:

“Miley and Liam are done; it’s over. She likes to party really hard and can be pretty wild. It became a problem for him.”

Ohhhhh...well OF COURSE.

He HAD to cheat on her because she wasn’t staying at home, being grateful that he loved her. If she’d only not cut her hair, you know? If only she’d left it long, like a nice girl who knows how to keep her man. Because how could she expect him to not step out on her when she shaved the sides of her head and isn’t attractive anymore and goes out all the time...?!?! Liam is so hot. He couldn’t help it. It’s all her fault.
