Even when your son is a world famous pop star, the last thing you’d expect of an evening is to have hundreds of his fans rummaging around your garden.
Spare a thought then for Liam Payne from One Direction’s dad Geoff.
According to The Sun, a radio competition to win tickets for One Directions Birmingham gig led to hundreds of fans rooting around in his bushes in the hope of finding the lucky prize.
Geoff said: “I’m much better now that the competition is over.
“There have been people hiding round corners looking for them.”
Free Radio West Midlands gave out a series of cryptic clues which brought fans to Geoff’s well trimmed lawn, but they have since apologised ‘wholeheartedly’.
